starting a poll

I'd like to start a poll but not sure how. I wanna know how many people would trade out the auto tranny on their e36 for either a 5 or 6 speed. Also, considering the cost of a rebuild, who would swap out their M50 motor for an M3 or even (with a TON of work, I assume) a V8?

I thought it would be cool to get something like a wrecked 740 and put the drivetrain into my lil e36!

To start a pole, when you make a new thread, there will be an option down at the bottom by Manage Attachments, that says insert pole. Then just type in how many selections you want, and then the next page will allow you to edit it. Go to the test board and do a practice run on it.

I wouldnt drive an e36 without a manual trans. For me, that is one of the biggest assets that my car has. I have thought about the V8 into an e36, and researched. I like the idea of a Corvette LS1/2 in the car. That would be the most economical and simplest swap. A M60 or 62 BMW V8 would be nice just because it is a BMW engine, but an LS1 is lighter and has more torque, horsepower, and a larger aftermarket.

wow a vette engine in a bimmer, when someone ask's what you got under the hood they would be in for one hell of a suprise, even better would be taking it to the stealer for an oil change.
