what do you guys recommend to add angel eyes to the existing xenons? Will I have to crack open the headlights? I hate the stock orange halos and want to add white ones.

also, I noticed that some of the e60s have a nicer headrest that stick out. What option is that?

Your existing xenons have angel eyes. If you wan't a different color than the "gold/yellow" look then just change the light buld which illumintes the circular rings.

As for the headrest, you're probably talking about the one that comes standard on the comfort seats, as part of the sports package or stand alone option.

The brightest aftermarket angel eyes available for the e60 are from CustomAngelEyes.com. They also happen to be the most expensive. A few e60 owners in San Jose got together one evening and did a side-by-side comparison. The AIBs from CustomAngelEyes are brighter than Umnitza's Predator ICE.

As for installation, it's a pain in the a$$ to install. I had to remove the headlight to get the proper angle to insert the AIBs. At this moment I've removed my AIBs b/c the version 1 I have causes radio interference. I didn't opt to buy version 2 b/c it's NOT 2X as bright as version 1. All they did was fix the radio interference.

Eventhough Predator ICE is not as bright as AIBs, they do not have the radio interference problems that plagued AIB version 1. Also, ICE is cheaper than AIBs. Though cheaper than AIBs it not plug-and-play like AIBs. I believe there is splicing of wires involved.

I'm not a fan of either product. I'm going to wait and get the 08 e60 headlights. The stock angel eyes in the 08 e60s are VERY bright even if they're still yellow.

Your best option would be our Predator ICE replacement modules to upgrade your OEM halogens to a xenon white output.
