I recently picked up a 3-series BWM with bluetooth option. I had my Telus PPC6700 to its original configuration of over a year ago and it worked great with the car except it wouldn't download the phone book which I found annoying. On an old thread someone said to update to the latest software and that it would fix this.

So I upgraded to the latest software and the phone paired without a problem and the phonebook downloaded fine. However I got a call and all i could hear was static. The next time i started the car, it wouldn't find my phone. The next time, it would find it and then crap out. The only workaround would be to delete the phone from my car and pair it again, which would work once in 3 times at best.

It seems bluetooth is screwed up on my phone as other phones still work great with the car.
Has anyone else experienced something like this with pairing the handset with a car?
Also I've read about jetwaremobile.com, would it help me?

Thanks

check out this software for the ppc6700. It works well with the BMW ULF module
