Black scuffs on door jamb/sill

I think I've seen something on this before but....

How or what do you use to remove black scuffing on the plastic (inner) portion of the door sill? I have Sand interior so they really stick out (at least to me). I've been able to clean those that were merely "dirt" but there is still a light marking that remains from a few. I know I need to be more careful but sometimes things happen.

I am not sure with a sand interior, but with a black interior, I use black again, which is a white cream that buffs out and and what appears to re-moisturize the surface of the plastic.

Try Lexol Vinyl conditioner on the spot to see if that help.

I too have sand interior. I have removed those nasty black scuff marks from the plastic sill with Simple Green. It works for me.
