I'm not trying to turn my 6er into an M6. I have other cars for that. Why do people always think that you must want an M6 if you want to do a little modding.
I did not mean you were trying to turn your 6 into an M6 by my reply. I was merely pointing out that the money people spend on engine HP gains with BMW's is costly for minimal returns. With warranty issues and problems after the fact, the money spent can easily top the cost of buying an M6 instead.

I'm thinking about installing the Britalman intake. Anyone have this installed or do you recommend another brand.

If people with the "need for speed" gene were really smart, they would have bought an M6 right out of the box. Then, they could sleep better and not have to obsess over the need for more power.
But....does it really end there or are they cursed with an eternal quest for more? :dunno:

However then there are those of us that DID procure the M6, but elect not to drive it "balls to the walls" all the time and we get ridiculed for not shifting manually when the auto mode suits us just fine!
