Side marker question....

I've already installed clear side markers, but one of the major differences between the pre 95 and post 95 cars is the side markers. I'm wondering if anyone has tried installing the post 95 markers on the pre 95 cars. Wiring I'm sure is the same, but I'm more curious about fitment of the lens itself and any modifications needed to make them fit factory like...

Damn should have taken my own advice and searched a bit first... consensus is you can go backwards, but not forwards. old style fit on new cars by enlarging the holes, new will not fit old cause the hole is too big.
