I have an 02 M3 with 43K miles. I have had to replace the interior rubber molding around the passenger side window twice already... and now a third time. It's not under warranty and cost is roughly $500 (I have tried to do it myself and have had a repair shop try but won't stick for any length of time). I have also had to replace the silver/platinum plastic veneer near the armrests on both sides two or three times. This seems like a complete joke to me.... Anyone else have these issues?
I just got my passenger side replaced yesterday under warranty. Its so embarrasing when it happens.
Had the driver side done about 1 year after I had the car, and now the passenger side.
My wife parked the car in Mountainview outside, and I guess the sun melted it or something? Normally the car is garaged here in San Francisco, where even it it wasn't garaged it never gets hot.

Had it done once to my pass-side and twice to my drivers side. there's a 2 year warranty on those fixes. It's just a common problem, I guess the glue sucks. My advice, rip it down before the 2 yr replacement part warranty is up so you can keep getting it fixed for free :)
