has anyone put an in-dash dvd unit on an 06 Z4 coupe. I purchased a kenwood in dash unit from best buy. They installed it but later found out that the amps and speakers didn't work w/the aftermarket unit since the speakers/amps were 2 ohms and the aftermarket dash was 4 ohms. They said I'd need 2 separate amps for the 10 speakers and 10 new speakers. So i had them de-install the dvd and refund my money. Is there anyway to get an aftermarked dvd stereo installed and keep the current bmw installed speakers/amp?? any help would be appreciated...thx

Danke schoen - darling, danke schoen... Sorry I don't have anything constructive to add, but a Ferris Bueller reference just can't go unacknowledged!

I havent done 2006 Z4 but They should have been able to turn on the factory amp and feed either the speaker signal or rca signal into the factory wires for sound.
