IPod Question on new 5 Series

Quick question about setting up my IPod with the USB adapter.

I've plugged it in using a standard IPod cord (not the factory one), and for some reason its not recognizing any of my Playlists and is only loading about half of the music from the iPod.

Is there anything in particular that I need to do with the Playlists to get them to operate properly?

Use the dedicated adapter cable (with the USB & 3.5mm plug) . I too tried without it and got exactly the same result. It's a hit'n'miss ... Some it works for, some it doesn't.

Got the adapter cord and it fixed the problem.
