Coil problems

I put in new bosch platinum +2 in my 93 325i bimmer a day later not all cylinders are working i ask a mechanic and he said the spark plugs you put in fried 2 coils has anyone heared of a spark plugs burning a coil

First of all I suggest that you put back the old sparks and see if the problem persists after a couple of miles (and a reset on the ecu).
If it persists maybe its time to replace your coils. Though they are considered as something almost never need to be replaced, they are like the sparks and all such stuff. From time to time (30-40k) need to be replaced. Be carefull... to replace ALL six of them, and not only the two that are dead.
