Hello, I'm a first time BMW owner with the 1993 E34 M5 I purchased last night. :D
The car is in great shape and is nearly stock - which is not the case with the radio. There is a cheap Kenwood which I want to take out and replace with the original radio. I've pulled out the Kenwood and was getting ready to put in the original when I got stuck on the wiring it back up. What I'm hoping to see is a picture or diagram of what the BMW harness is supposed to look like when it is to be attached to the back of the radio. Can anyone help me out here?
My second request for assistance is with the alarm or more precisely trying to locate the processing unit located somewhere in the car. The owner said the remote was long gone, but that the alarm itself was never replaced. I have a new remote, but since I can't program it with a chip from an original remote, it appears I have to find the processing unit in the car.
Thanks in advance for the assistance. Kevin
