I am considering selling my 02 M5. It is Chiaretto Red (burgundy) with Caramel interior. It has 37.5k miles on it. I bought it in December of 2005 with 22k miles on it. Since then I have done the usual maintenance on it (oil, tranny, diff changed just after I bought it). Recently replaced the MAFs, fuel filter, air filters, cabin microfilters, all O2 sensors, oil (about 4k miles ago- repalced with Redline). I have some plugs to go into it, but have misplaced them. I have been contemplating replacing all the CPS to avoid any of the common M5 problems. Has been 100% trouble free and a dream to own. The only upgrade I made was the Nav system has a DVD player in it. I have sold off the stock rims (but they are still on the car now as the new rims are scheduled to show up today- new rims are 4 genuine BMW 18x9 M parallels that will be getting new Yokohama Sport 275/35 rubber this weekend). The bad: the driver front bumper is cracked a bit (the entry and exit angle of some businesses around here are bad)- it is noticeable if you are looking for it, but not really at a casual glance. There is also a door ding under the passenger mirror.

Reason for selling? Thinking about a 1 series...want to see if BMW will really make an M version of it....or save money to buy a GT3 in a few years.

Located in Tyler, Texas (2 hours east of Dallas).

Rims (18x9 M parallels on all 4 corners) and tires (Yoko Advan Sports 275/35) are new as of yesterday. Black floormats are alos new (still have the Carmel ones too).

Asking $40k
