So I just got pretty much a free M3 muffler. I was going to change out my stock 325 out and put on this muffler. Are there anything I should need to know before I make the switch? Any positive effects? I know that the car will be a bit quieter but anything else I should know guys? Thanks.

M3 is def heavier, and its actually louder than the stock one, not quieter, no performance increase however, just better sound and look. i have it on my 325i. hah, us 3 should start a white sedan club for e36's!

LOL..thanks for the replies guys. I tried a search but couldnt find anything. And that exhaust is one heavy baby. Funny thing was I was at a muffler shop today. This exhaust came off of a 95 M3 turbo charged car. Running 16 lbs of boost on stock internals. He had given his exhaust to a buddy who I talked to today. He didnt like how it didnt make his car sound like when he had on his stock. So he gave me an offer, "If i can get the owner of the muffler shop to put back on his stock exhaust, he'd give the damn thing to me." I said it was a deal and paid the owner of the muffler shop 20 bucks to do it. I came out with a M3 exhaust. HAHA.
