Anyone have any constructive comments on these wheels? There are two types that I like and am considering putting them on the car. It's a German company, and their warranty is good. I really love the type H wheel, but I can't find it available in the States for the E36; my second choice would be the type CA, which is available.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Never liked any of their designs to be honest. IMO, all of their designs look like they belong on a cheapass boy racers cavalier or something.
Fiske on the other hand...man, the FM10's really get me going :D

ya I don't really like them either, but that's just my opinion.

My opinion is I'm entirely too opinionated to comment.

What are you on?????
You like to hijack threads that much is obvious.
Anyway,
I think the H doesn't look mean enough, the CA looks okay, but a bit like something nelson22 would have, i.e. not necessarily matching BMW styling

All I can say is that I saw some on a 46 yesterday and thought they looked okay. Some stock rims would look nicer, but some of the stock rims look like trash, so it would be an upgrade in some circumstances. I agree with whoever else said they don't look mean enough. The 'H' looks almost a bit marshmallow-ish. The CA is a step in the right direction, but still something I think I'd see on a Camry or a Passat.
When I get around to having money to blow on rims (after paying off college and the $70,000 I get to blow next year...ugh), I'll be putting some Beyerns on or maybe even some BMW wheels. The ones I have now aren't too wonderful.
My opinion in short: I'd go with something meaner-looking.

I appreciate the comments.
My problem is that I think most of the rims people like here are too "busy" for their cars. Sure it's all personal opinion, but most seem too overwhelming (please notice I didn't use the "rice" word here).
It probably has to do with age and intent. Being middle aged (and if anyone thinks 54 is middle aged, raise your hand ... what are the odds I'm going to live to be 108?) my tastes seem to run a bit more conservative, which is why I initially liked a couple of the Borbet wheels.
I'm probably not going to buy them, solely because the one I really like doesn't seem to be available in the US. There are very few "genuine" BMW wheels that I truly like. I like Pirate's wheels he got recently, but they're not available in 16". There are a few others I've seen here I like, but a lot I don't ... so I'll keep looking.
Thanks for everyone's comments.
My dilemma is either fork out a couple hundred more for some BBS-LMs or RXs, or, save a bunch and get replica 17" M6 wheels.
Fiske would KILL my bank account though, although I would kill all the bank staff for a set of 17" FM10's LOL!

Yeah, I hear you. Invariably, the wheels I like cost more than the GNR of a small, third world country.

You wanna watch out, you are very close to turning into Vonado
He gets away with it though as we know he is not being nasty, just his Texan humour coming through!!

most of the wheels in there are done by BMW too. For sure the Type H there is a very similar BMW wheel, Style 18. So you like simple 5 spoke design, very good, its nice design and style and fits pretty much every car and would say its classic and not super agressive. Only get it in bigger size, no 15s or 16s, then it looks much nicer.
And you know, you can replace borbet sticker with BMW sticker if you do end up buying from them.
Anyway from that list I'd take the Type LS that looks like OZ Superturismos, those wheels are awesome. Get it in dark gray finish to make it it even nicer if there is such option. :)
In my opinion, BBS LM in 17" look the best on the E36/46.

The type-H's look like the rims that came on my moms mini-van. I'dd rather keep my stock ones on..

Those look really bad, IMO. Totally unfitting for a BMW style and too small in any case. I usually like 5 spoke designs but those...ugh.

BMW's look better if the rim has a slight lip..
