I am adverse to running solvent through the engine for a few reasons.
Some of it is bound to remain. Sludge and deposits that had been happily clinging to various parts have now been disturbed and those not removed by the flush are now left to circulate the oiling system. A regimine of frequent changes of high quality oil and filter will also reduce builups slowly.
Finally, even complete elimination of deposits in an engine wont reverse the wear caused from prior neglect.
Spending your money on oil changes and usual M20 things like a timing belt will be more beneficial in the long run.

I've heard that replacing that much trans fluid at once can cause failure. Probably better to do a bit at a time.
The coolant flush is a rip off. Buy a crush gasket for the block drain and you can do just as good a job yourself at home.
Oil is the same as the coolant.
