Ok so my a/c just stopped working so i bought those refill cans with the guage and saw that there was too much pressure in the system; so I had the system vacuumed down and new freon put in now my system just gets warm all of a sudden and i have to turn it off and on continuously to get it to get cool again what the hell is wrong , I am so frustrated i am tempted to just sell the damn car and buy a honda. Ok maybe not a honda but U guys know how ifeel:mad:

I'm hoping you didn't kill your compressor. Contact your local BMW CCA club. Call or email the webmaster and ask for a good bmw indy shop in your area. I can only guess what is wrong because the A/C not working can be quite a few things. Luckily, you don't have a leak- so that's good. Here is the first thing to check.
There is something called a heater valve. At your car's year, which is the same as mine, your heater valve has become a molten pile of crap. The valve by default sticks open aka heat will just pour out even when your vents are closed and nothing is running. It will also cancel out your A/C when running. You will need to have a independent bmw shop check it to verify and replace it. It can also be purchased at bmaparts.com or bavauto.com. It's around 200 bucks. It's probably a easy fix as long as your didn't burn out your compressor with the overcharge.
hi, i had the same problem with my previous car, you may find the following links of some help, I hope

in any case check your valves they do get stuck, i have seen on the net step by step instructions as to how to clean and unstick the valves, just cant find at the moment..
good luck

Thanx guys, I will try those when i get a chance. But I am sure that the compressor still works cuz I took it to a shop and they vacuumed the system down again but could only get 2 pounds of 134 in there but the a/c worked but it was weak and it will only work in the night time when it is cooler or if I take corners really fast, also before all this happened the aux fan fuse blew and it was all burnt up So i changed it, but the shop said that the fan doesnt come on. I changed the fan, checked the wires under the fuse box and I am still stumped
