Used a combination of Koni and BMW parts.

Filed (just a little) the upper double D stem so that the Snap-on A139 tool would fit.

The washer gaskets have self stick on one side. This works fine on the lower one. On the upper flared one it doesn't stay stuck. Added rubber contact cement to hold it in place.
Checked the shocks to assure that they were at the minimum adjustment point.
I used the BMW recommended torque on the upper self-locking stem nut. BMW 15 Nm versus Koni 45 Nm.
