filter question

hi all, as per previous threads, have looked into getting a filter to replace my stock filter.

does anybody know what if any gains i should get in fuel consumption and horsepower???
also will the new filter change the tone of my engine??

Also for buyers in Australia, I priced this filter at Autobarn at $170 dollars but found the same filter for $87 plus $15 postage at Rocket industries .http://www.rocketind.com/

There are some extensive posts on numerous forums about filters. The general consensus appears don't bother, use OEM. Some may give 1-2 extra horsepower, or even a bit more...but they're just not worth the money.
