1982 BMW 320i no srat. no spark no fuel pump

I have just recieved this lovely little vechile. It's in a sad state. No spark and no fuel pump working. If I Ground out the feul pump relay I get fuel pressure. but still no spark. had it running to about 3 second and never since. Can any one me.:dunno:

It's simple really. You need spark, air, and fuel. If the car is getting all three it should at least start. Begin with the battery...then move to the coil...then plug wires...like Paul C says...you gotta do a full tune up...including fuel filter....air filter...cap...dist..etc...start there. Good luck.
