E36 gags

My E36 1998 323IS does start properly when i start it..it basically gags and cuts outt and then like a couple of trys it'll start and stay on....any suggestions of problems..

Hey mate

a few things to check

Fuel Filter
ICV (could need a clean)
Air filter

Do you have any performance issues when it gets going?

no sir the cars bone stock and has no performance issues it runs like a beauty just starting was the problem but its only does it like couple times here and there

Air intake boot gets my vote, might have come lose like my did.

You would get performance issues from that as you would be getting un-metered air...
