Ok My ED date is 11/5. I am arriving in Munich on the 4th and staying at the marriot until 11/7 in the morning. I want to be in Paris by early afternoon on 11/9.
I need suggestions:
11/4 arrive in munich
11/5 ED Delivery
11/6 go around Munich
11/7 check out of hotel in AM and then ?
11/8 ?
11/9 I want to arrive in Paris around 1pm. Go to Jules Verne in the Eifel Tower for dinner
11/10 See the sights of Paris
11/11 Go Home
So basically I need to figure out what to do on 11/7 and 11/8 on the way to Paris. Also any help with where to stay in paris is appreciated.

1) Wurzburg via Romantic Road. Lunch at the Burgerspital http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g187321-d190863-Reviews-Burgerspital-Wurzburg_Romantic_Road_Bavaria.html Visit the Residenze and the Wurzburg Castle. Head West to Rhine, spend the night at Mainz River front.
2) Heidelburg via Stuttgart. Vistit Hiedelburg castle and kick into high gear on the stretch of Autobahn between Heidelburg and Frankfurt. Probably one of the fastest stretch of Autobahn in Germany. Spend the night at Mainz.
Enter France thru Saarbuck (sp) the next morning.
Just my 2 cents worth,

We drove from Munich to Strasbourg. Once there you can explore the Alsace, including this museum (which we missed :bawling:) http://www.collection-schlumpf.com/en/schlumpf/368-/.
For Paris, our friends have a studio-apartment rental in the Marais (near Les Halles metro and Pompidou museum). Check it out -->http://www.padinparis.com
The route beewang is suggesting is probably faster (also no tolls in D). Depends on what you like doing.
Good luck.

Try the Weinstraße (German wine road). You will be shocked at the quality of German wines. They bear no resemblance to the crap they export.
I'm very partial to some of the wineries in the Nahe valley. (I wish I could name them. However, it appears that I enjoyed them too much.)
The Trocken and Halbtrocken (dry and semidry) whites are spectacular.
You can find more information here (http://www.thewinedoctor.com/regionalguides/germany.shtml) and here (http://www.thewinedoctor.com/regionalguides/germanynahe.shtml).

For champagne, look at these recent posts on Reims here (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=213763) and here (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=222150). For wine in Alsace, use the search function for Route du Vin, which is near Strasbourg.
