Selling my Baby...

Well, after much convincing from the missus, and a bunch of problems, I'm now selling my E36... I've actually had an offer of a straight swap with an E30, which I am contemplating, because the purchase value and year aren't really that different from mine... Plus, the E30 is M/T, which makes it a plus over my current baby... If the E30 being offered has nothing wrong with it, unlike mine, then I'm seriously considering it...

I actually made a thread about it on the E30 forum asking for opinions, and what the problems of the E30 are... Check the thread out if you want to see what problems my baby has...

After reading the post in relation to the E30 swap, my humble opinion would be to keep the E36 as you know whats been done and you have started fixing it. In other words, you know where you are.

You may be just walking into the same problems with the e30.

Mate, I have to stress tho, that this is my humble opinion only.

I actually agree with you... I guess the past month has just been absolutely rocky... Remember the water pump housing defects? I finally got someone to fix it for much cheaper, but still...

Another option is to just sell, and be patient for other decent offers out there... I don't know...

Anyway, I'll keep you guys posted... I just hope my 3-Series > E36 Forum Membership does not get revoked if I do sell... It's just too much fun hanging out here... :D

Seriously though, my wife makes a pretty strong argument when she says that it's been in the shop more than it's been on the road in the past few months... She isn't too hot on the E30 either... She's suggesting I get a Civic or something... Less trouble... Or so they say...

First part, I agree with... About the Civic... Weeeeeeeeeeeeelll... Let's just say I laugh and say "Let's see" whenever she says that... Just to avoid any argument...
