does anyone knows where the speed sensor located?

today i changed the transmission filter. it was not hard but when you learn stuff while you are doing it ., it was kind difficult. i opened the transmission plate took the old filter out put the new one in which is pretty easy but nasty... then put the plate in. i was looking place to put the transmission oil, which it takes special trans. oil, you can find it auto zone cost 24 bucks. i could not find any place to put it in then i called the bmw service for help they told me i need to pump the tran. oil in the transmission loosing up one of the bulb side of the transmission. i have to buy a 11 dollar pump the pump the oil in it. it still fix the problem when i am driving it gear shifting funny first it goes fast more pulling power then shift goes to over drive i think no matter how deep i push the gas padel it still moves slow then gets faster. i went to auto zone and get it hooked to the machine and they told me speed sensor was bad and also 2nd and 3rd shift does shift properly. they also told me it might be just the sensor causing 2nd and 3rd shift not shifting properly. so i do not know what to do at this point. get a sensor for 93 dollar or change the whole transmission? please help\

thanks...

Was the shifting ok before you flushed the trans?
When filling the trans fluid back:
1) the car has to be level though you need to jack it up, kinda tricky that means all 4 corner need to be jacked up.
2) the temp has to be around 120-150 farenheit, car running in neutral. Fill until drip through the filler hole.

Check some of my pictures on this link:

Not sure if you under fill or not.
I ahd no problem with my X5 before the flush and after. Good luck
