I am planning of replacing my Bridgestone Turanza 225/45ZR17 with Michelin Pilot A/S. Doesn't anybody have any pros/cons about this tires?

I found a deal online for $450 for a set of four for sale by owner. It was brand new condition never been mounted, he just bought it last week at tirerack and paid full price. It was too good to pass up. I was going to purchase the same OEM tires until I saw this ad. It was a steal at this price.

I've had em on my ride for just about 2 years now. They have served me well in Colorado, NOVA, SC, and now Germany. I'd buy them all over again....expensive, but worth it.

Thats a great deal on those tires. They do ride a bit more stiffly than some others in their category, but are pretty good otherwise.

Is this tires stiffer than the OEM Bridgestone Turanza? I have about 38k on the orignal tires which is not bad. The rear tires worn out to thread wear indicator. Is the comfort level tolerable for everyday driving on the Pilots?

How the handling on wet roads?

Yes, wet traction is great. Comfort is good not harsh, but not quite as soft as some others in that category.

handling is just fine. I've had the shoes on in wet, slushy snow in denver/colorado springs, and other parts of colorado....no real issues....i've also experienced heavy rain in the North Carolina area....as well as NOVA and South Carolina.

Having said all that, the handling really is up to how you drive. If your trying to get spin on wet surfaces, you will get it..there are a couple roads here in germany (not the brick/cobblestone) that really help me cut loose cause of the oils and the small amount of water on its surface.

I'm runnin' 18inch BBS rims (x10 in the back) and the ride is a bit firmer than on the stock tires/rims.

Look at the PS2's. I put them on my 545i and they totally transformed the car! The ride was quiet and smooth. Handling was phenominal ! You pay more for the best and that'ss what you would be doing. Totally worth it. No experience with the A/S. Hope this helps!
