Hello All:

I am considering the purchase of 2003 M5, which in all respects seems to be in excellent condition. However, the seller put a new pair of Mastercraft Avenger ZHP tires on the car. I don't know a thing about these tires and they are in fact "not supported" on the M5 per the Mastercraft website.

Has anyone ever heard of these tires? Any comments or thoughts?

Thx.
John

Never heard of these, sorry. They sound like a low-buck tire sold locally...

Many thanks. That was my reaction as well. Shame to sell such a nice car with such crappy shoes.

So, I ended up buying the car with the MasterCraft tire. They seem to be ok and will have some amount of useful life. When I'm ready to ditch them, what would you recommend for a 2003 M5? I'm most interested in handling and performance.

Thx.
John

Among the best are the Michelin PS2 and Goodyear GSD3.
