I am finally to the point where I can make the purchase of a SC and really liked how the TS ESS sounded. I mostly see threads on Active and VT and wondered if there were any ESS owners out there with advice. Looking to put it on a 2003 3.0 Z4 6sp.

Thanks.

I had a 2001 330I with the ESS VT1 SC and aftercooler. The car ran great and HP and torque were as advertised. I also had good experience with ESS personel in dealing with install questions and support overall. A friend of mine in Phoenix is the person that does the ECU reprogramming and he does a really good job. I have bought the ESS TS2 to put on my 2002 530I and am really looking forward to receiving this unit. I love the car, just want more go juice and it should be a real blast to drive after the install. I know that ESS is very good about pretesting its products and does extensive research before releasing any product on the general market.

I've got the TS2+ with FI cams and I love it! The only problem I have is that first gear is useless, and my fuel tank is too small...:D

Here's my install:

ESS has a great reputation. Back in the Z4UM.com days there was a guy who used them. The results were very good. VF Engineering has been working on a kit for sometime, but has yet to produce one.

I've got an ESS TS1 kit on my 2002 530i.
It's a great bit of kit.
Big mid-range torque with controllable power, good fuel economy and very driveable for everyday use. ESS develop their kits very well before release.

Good news is now you can do the ESS SC for the Z4M :)
