I would guess it will track pretty closely to the 3 Cayenne trim levels.

I would guess it will track pretty closely to the 3 Cayenne trim levels.
The other BMW models can't track closely to their Porsche equivalents... why would this one?

The Z4/Z4M base prices are close enough to the Boxster and Cayman base prices to invite comparison, and the 6er is in the same price range as a 911 (and the two are usually found in the same comparo tests). Obviously, Porsche doesn't have an analog to any of BMW's sedans.

The Boxter/Cayman vs. Z4 is a fair fight.
But I've never understood why anyone would compare a 911 to a 6er (unless maybe you're talking about the cabs). I think the M3 is the only BMW that warrants comparison to the 911.

The base C2 vs. the 645/650 is not too farfetched, I think, coupe or cab. Once you add an S to the Porsche's designation, it moves into a different market.
