I have a 06 330i with sports package. I read somewhere that the tires cannot be aligned and/or balanced due to different tire sizes in front and rear. Is that true?

The tires I have right now still have some tread left, but they are causing too much noise adn tend to pull towards right. Can I just get them aligned and balanced or do I need new tires?

Also, are there any other runflat tires for this car besides bridgestone runflats? When do you expect them to be in stock?

Thanks

The car can be aligned and the tires can be balanced. The tires cannot be rotated because they are different sizes, also known as staggered.

If you are getting a lot of road noise from the tire, it's probably too late to save them and you'll need to replace them.

As far as what other brands are available....I dunno. You didn't post the size of your tires. Are they 225/35ZR19 front and 255/30ZR19 rear? Or are they 225/40ZR18 front and 255/35ZR18 rears? The tire rack website indicates both of these sizes are available for the sport package 330.

How many miles are on the car?

Thanks...they are 255/35/18rear and 225/40/18front.

I have close to 25K mi on them and the tread is fine. I got them checked and the tire place told me that they had enough treadwear to last me another 10K mi or so. However, my lease ends next december and I don't want to have to replace them just 4-5 months prior to turn in. Also, I anticipate putting anothrt 10-12K miles on them.

Road noise is not soooo much as opposed to car pulling towards right and just not feeling right when driving. Also, BMW dealership charges you close to $400 for balancing and alignment and outside tire shops are charging me $250ish.

I can get those 4 runflats for around $1000...same brand, size...
