So I have noticed that is is only when I fill up the tank that for the next 20 miles or so I catch the scent of fuel. I am not sure it is from an actual leak, if the car is running rich, or what. :dunno: I have checked and can find no traces of a leak anywhere. What are some suggestions.

ps I just changed the O2 sensor 1-2 years ago, and put in the CAI last week:thumbup:

pull up the back seat and have a look at the top of your tank, more than likely its there.

let us know what your findings are.

Yeah man, did that. It is only present when the car is running. I pulled up the seat PJ and saw nothing suspicious, I also did not smell any trace of fuel.:dunno:

im having the same thing too. but after 20 miles or so, theres no more scent. maybe you filled up your tank too full, which causes some fuel to released where the breather is. if you fill up your tank pass the first clip, then there will b a little leak, but it will b ok...

Do you FILL the tank to the top when this happens?

May be a small leak in your filler funnel. Try not to put so much in

I would check your fuel funnel first mate (the one that goes from your petrol cap to the tank)

It's the little picture next to your username in your posts. Mine is the DSC symbol. You go to User CP and click on "avatar" and upload whatever you want.
