BMW 318i

Question: I have steam coming out of my hood, the ac turns on automatically each time I start the car. Today the steam started after driving in traffic for 20minutes. And I had smoke coming out of the exhaust.
Under the hood: Green fluid (I am assuming radiator fluid) is spraying. On the side of the drivers car (left side)
Can anyone help before I get the car towed to a dealership/ garage for repair. I need to know what to expect.

Sounds like your car needs a lot of work. Is it possible to post a pic of where the spray is coming from? The green fluid sounds like coolant, to me.

Cannot put a picture up right now... I will be able to do that after 1pm today since that's when AAA tow it for me.
The spray is on the left side and when I looked under it was dripping as well

THe coolant is spraying to the left side near the red oil stick thing.

What colour was the smoke?

is that where the heater core is located? one of the hoses that goes into the heater core could have ruptured. (just a guess though)
