service lights

had my 1992 325i serviced last week and they didn't reset the service lights. Am i able to do this myself? can anyone explain how? cheers.

Or buy a peake reset tool :)

I would take it back to the garage mate and tell them to do the job properly !!

I wouldn't take my car to a garage for a "service" in the first place!

Or maybe they just worked out what the tool does and found an easier (and cheaper) way!!

And the seven seconds for oil didn't work for me anyway. Frustrated, I stopped caring whether I reset an internal service counter and went for 15, which set the oil.

BTW, "INSPECTION" came on two weeks ago. Anyone know if it's possible to tell service1 from service2? I tend to do a progressive "rolling" service.
