I'm thinking of buying a digital code reader but fell off my chair when I saw the prices......until I saw this one on ebay(UK).
Has anyone used one like this and are they reliable for the price?
ebay (UK) Item number: 160152589309.
Thanks in anticipation.

I have heard mixed review on them mate, but have never tried them myself

A Draper tool is a safer (but more expensive) bet!!

Thanks Pirate. Bought a Draper service light reset tool which worked great so might hunt for their code reader as well.

I like the Peake reader and reset tool. It's great.

I like the Peake reader and reset tool. It's great.

Which particular model do you have and how much do they tend to sell for?

I have a Peake Research reset tool. I highly recommend it to any bimmer owner. As for the code readers- I highly doubt anything aftermarket will work 100% of the time, with the possible exception of Bosch.

I always forget that.
They'll ship over there, but whether or not you want to pay the shipping totally depends on what you can find over there.

Gawd I hate choices. Eenie Meenie, Minie....wait a Mo. If pirate says Draper, then Draper it is...I think. No,yes it will be Draper....or Peake. Yes, that's my mind made up, I shall get one of those two.
