Winter tires / rims for 2008 528i non-SP

What is the best wheel size for winter on the 2008 528i non-sport - 16" or 17"? Can anybody confirm that the downsize 16" will fit ok?

Is there general consensus that Blizzak LM-25 is a good winter tire?

We've downsized on the non-sport with no problem. The Sport package car should be no different for brake clearance.

Yes, the LM25 is indeed a very good performance oriented winter tire.
