I ran into an old friend today at work, Eddy DeJesus current IASCA ISQC World Champion and sponsored DLS competitor. I know el duderino is a fan and I've always dropped by to suggest folks check out DLS. I had DLS in my last truck and just haven't built a system since, but there is no question as to what I will use. Here are some pics for your enjoyment and a link for more info. Enjoy

Just to make it clear SQ is not the "Boom-Chuga-Boom" allot of you may have the presumption of all car stereo competition to be. These are systems reproducing the sound with studio quality. If you're interested in learning more I have a link for the 2007 IASCA Sound Quality rules.

This truck is a truly amazing experience, the sound is beyond phenomenal.

Listening to some Jazz or Orchestra in this thing is flippin' unbelievable. The sound stage is perfect, you can close your eyes and image exactly where every last instrument sound is coming from.

DLS is damn nice stuff (I say this just as I sell the last of my DLS gear). Interested in the 3 way front stage cos it looked like the Nobellium range was heading to 2 way rather than the 3 way of the older Iridium range (have sold my Iridium 6.3 set up). The pair of TA2 looks very interesting, presume they're running the mids and tweets. Guessing the other two amps are a A3 and A6. I did consider the TA2 for fronts but looks like I'm opting for a different amp instead.

Highly recommend DLS but their magnet depth doesn't make them a drop in replacement for factory speakers.

Yeah, the magnet depth has always been an issue in that truck. He used to use Focal and had the same prob. We did replace all the factories in his 750iL however with a very limited amount of modding. Another guy I know holds the WR in SPL (King of Bass, Tommy Mckinnie) using RE subs which I also like a whole lot.

I demoed an ARC amp in my last truck but ended up with a JBL 1200.1 . The DLS seperates ran on 4ch JBL GT real old school with the whithe chassis.
