After much consideration I decided to go with the JUICE BOX Stage-2 and I couldn't be happier! I had also considered the Vishnu Procede V2, but for my application, an e93 Convertible w/StepTronic I figured I didn't need all the tuneability that one might need for a heavily modified 335i...I just wanted a little something to make up for the e93's weight (nearly 500lbs heavier than the e92 coupe) so I could keep up with my buddies in the straights in their Cayman-S & 335i Coupe on our occasional Mountain Runs.

Before the JBS-2 install I did some base runs and they were in the 5.25 to 5.35 second range. About what I thought they would be. My G35 I had set up for the Track runs 4.80 0-60 and the 335i didn't feel as quick off the line as the G. This e93 335i Convertible is so heavy 3,900+lbs, 0-60 times aren't it's thing anyway. Initiating all that weight to move is a chore. But once it starts all
that mass rolling It does pulls hard...or so I thought.

I have had this G-Timer for over 3 years & find it to be very accurate at track events. But I use it mainly as a tool to see if the mods I do to my cars are hurting or helping the performance, and in that respect It's has been very consistant.

After the JBS2 install IT'S A BEAST! Drives just like before, very linear & smooth but when you get into it...What a Transformation!
I took the car to the same spot I did the runs at a few hours before and averaged 4.45 to 4.55 second 0-60 runs! That's 8 to 9 tenths Faster to 60mph, doing all the runs exactly the same with the Steptronic in DS(sport
mode and not using the paddle shifters) as before!

Then my last run I decided to do it powerbraking the transmission to 2,000 rpm then launching with the DSC OFF for a change and busted off a 4.15 Second 0-60 leaving Two patches of rubber about 12 feet long!!!
I think I just hit on the way to launch this Beast!

But I most say, as Awesome as this product is, the customer service is even better! I want to Thank Terry for the prompt shipping and emails, he emailed me within an hour of my order saying "It has been shipped" and for the followup email (I ordered it Monday, got it Wednesday). Best $349.00 Mod Ever!

Thanks Again for Great Customer Service and an Awesome Product at a Fair Price...that's a Very Rare Combination these days...

sh*t that 4:15 0-60 is darn impressive for an E93. Good job!

Two patches of rubber and a 4.15???

Very nice runs! As much as I'd love to promote the 4.15, I think 4.50 is probably more accurate for a convert with good traction. That isn't to say someone can't get lucky and make a great run, but it's best to look at averages.

I like the install location too! That spot has a relay in some cars, but where its open it's a great place to locate the JB.

Thanks again,

T

Yea...the 4.15 could have been a glitch or something being 3/10's faster than my other runs to 60, even though it felt like the most intense run.

I averaged 4.45 to 4.55 seconds on most of the 0-60 runs! That's still 8 to 9 tenths Faster to 60mph than the 5.25 to 5.35 second range before the JBS2! Thanks Terry, I'm very Happy with it!

Interesting. Gotta get me one of them G-timers. I'm supposed to be able to do 0-60 in 4.60 - but I feel like it's quicker because I'm running R-compounds that grab like duct tape.

Awesome results!!! I'm running the JBS1 now and it's very impressive. The S2 must be an absolute beast on the E93.

Is it a problem with the warrantee if your just leasing.I? Does it have to come out when car goes in for service?

Best to remove it for service but most don't bother...

Congrats on joining the Juice Box Gang...I haven't heard of any JBS1 0r 2 causing any CEL/Codes. That's one reason Terry's products have become so popular.
I have only heard of One 335i engine being blown, and it was with another tuners product and it wasn't clear if it even caused it...
Legally BMW can't void your warranty, unless the devise you installed caused a failure in that particular area. But it may be best to remove it before service to avoid any red flags.

Well I am really glad that you are happy with your JB2 but I am just wondering how you are laying down two 12 foot patches of rubber...is that 1st and second gear on one side?? Cuz everyone else that I know with a 335i can only peg leg.

Do you also have an LSD??

I am really psyched after reading your review and those results are awesome...I just ordered mine last night hopefully I will have it by wednesday...Can't wait...

Nice write up.

No, you don't piggy back them. You either install JB1, JB2, or JB3. Go to N54tech.com/forums for details.

Very bad idea. :) The latest and greatest is Stage 3 which offers a full plug and play harness. We also have JB+ coming out soon which offers less power but a snappy install. Best to check around n54tech.com or our website!

Happy new year,

OP, if you're still here, and have a JB3 - what is the best 0-60 time you've gotten on your E93?
