If you're just getting 1 then any 2 channel amp around 40w rmsx2 should be more than enough.

This sub requires 120 continuous watts of power so just buy a amp that gives you an rms power output of 120 watts.

I had run a pair of those subs with up to 200W RMS each -using an Alpine MRP-F450 in 2ohms configuration- reliably in a door mount installation in my GTI.

They sound the best sealed in about 0.4 cu.ft enclosure, although they sound very good in IB (max power rating drops to 100W RMS, though). You could also take a look at the Earthquake SWS-8, they sound a little better.

However, if you are using this sub in a box just get the 10" version (single). There's no comparison... excellent deep bass in a .6 cu.ft sealed enclosure with 220W RMS (same Alpine amp).
