I've done a search and can't find the specific info I need. I also visited the bmw/bluetooth site and other than telling me my phone IS compatible, it was pretty worthless.
I HAD a different Verizon phone paired in my car (2007 335i convertible) and it worked just fine. I got this Razr recently, and just can't get it to work through handsfree. I'm frustrated and embarrassed because I just can't get it.
I go through the idrive controls for it to "pair phone" and make my Razr discoverable, and it DOES find it - but then nothing else happens. No phonebook upload, I can't use it handsfree, and so on. Maybe I'm just missing another step after the car and phone find each other, but I can't find the answer anywhere - not even in the auxilliary owner's manual on nav & phone. Please help! :(
