Hello-
new to the forum, although long-time BMW owner-several E34 535's, a 1999 528iT, and now the latest, a 2002 530i with sport, premium, and winter, toledo blue metallic over sand, 57k.
Two questions-530i seems to be affected with the dreaded shimmy at speed/under braking (above 60 mph). I am assuming thrust arm bushings as a start, but will confess that after two front end rebuilds of all bushings on 528iT, including new tires, problem still was not fully resolved. Worried about this new one.
Also, does anyone know the procedure for turning off the daytime running lights on the 2002 530i?
