Need some Base

Has anyone been able to add an after market subwoofer to the stock system? My E90 with Satellite Radio, Bluetooth and Drivers assist is lacking in Base. I was wondering if either the radio head has a Line out (hidden in the back ) for a sub-woofer or if anyone has tapped into the rear speakers and mounted an after market (powered) base pack.

Strange that no one answered you. I searched on "woofer" basically wondering the same thing. I found this (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64582) on another forum that basically says, no, there is no pre-amp out on the BMW systems. You have to use a hi/lo converter and wire it directly to the rear speakers. The post has a much better description and a wiring diagram. I'm going to do something like this. My system is pathetically low on bass, my Ford truck has more.

It's spelled bass when used in a sound application. And try BSW soundwerks they have custom stuff for bimmers.
