I like it. As soon as I can get around to changing my sunroof cassette I'll be installing my newly recovered headliner. I did the "sand-to-black" change as well. I'll post pics.

Level 5!?!?
There is no way that job was a 5 out of 10 in difficulty. I just did it and I can say it was a 3 at best. It took alot of time but it wasn't difficult.

I totally agree, lovely job. I would suggest though that if you are going to put in new seals and grab handles get black ones. The grey color looks way to light and spoils the effect of the new material.
great job:thumbup:

I'm replacing the sunroof cassette in the 325 before I sell it. I want to get as much for her as possible so I'm letting her go in tip top shape. As for the Blue Meanie, I'm going to check it out this afternoon or tomorrow, and if it checks out and passes the PPI I'll be buying it.

LoL! We can have a race. We'll go to our local 1/8 mile tracks and exchange time slips via mail.
p.s., what power mods do you have on the monster? Is it actually fast enough to kep up with a lightly mod'ed M3?

Well he just got rid of his M3 and kept his 328i. I say no more but draw your own conclusion.
Also as he was previously a race driver he would probably beat you and me driving a SKODA:D

Back to original thread, your lining looks amazing. PERSONALLY I like the co-ordinated effect of the two tone.
New business venture me thinks :dunno:

He also said that he was keeping the 328 over the M3 despite the fact that the M was much faster.

i saw a certain Audi A4 Sline the other day, and it had black headliner and white leather, with black dash. Gorgeous combo.
I had the anthracite headlining in my old Avus car, and it looked terrific.

The M3 was faster ON PAPER. But, as i proved earlier in the year, on the track it will blow way 3.0 M3's and keep up with the 3.2's on the track
This is not about a pissing contest anyway, my comment was more about the names of our cars
It is very easy for me to sit here and say "i am a faster driver than you", but i cant back it up as you like a fair few miles away and i will never race you
Thanks for the kind words efanton
