Hi,

I test drove E70 X5 3.0 yesterday. Great car indeed, I'm getting one next year. However I found 2 things that are not consistent with my e90 325. First, the turn signal. When you press the stalk lightly before the pressure point, my 325 will flash 3 times. The X5 however just flashed once.

Second, when I lock the car by pressing and holding the button on the key fob, my 325 will automatically fold the mirrors. The X5 didn't, even though it did have the electric mirror folding.

Are these purely a matter of computer configuration or what?

Thanks

The computer set up will allow triple flashing and mine is set that way.

I do not recall an autofolding side mirror set up screen. I just hit the button when I want it folded. It may be able to be set up to auto fold and I missed it.

I should say I have a US model and it may well be different.

No auto fold on the new X5 and yes you have to set-up the triple turn in the idrive menu.
