does the AT&T (Samsung) Blackjack work with a 550i 2008????? I don't see that on the list, but not sure??????

that sucks, i love my Blackjack and it is new so i am not sure why it doesn't work, can you get it to do anything at all???

It doesn't work at all. It will pair, but then it will drop on and off and there is no way to make or receive calls. Supposedly there is a pending update to WM6 that will greatly impove Bluetooth, but AT&T is non-committal about a deliver date.

I had a Moto Q when they were first released a year or so ago, and had lots of issues, including pairing (and unwanted unpairing...). Returned it. WM is an issue with the BMW BT stack.

The blackjack DOES work with the new Windows Mobile 6 update. I installed it on my wife's phone two months ago an have NO issues whatsoever. Everything works except signal strength.

Try Windows Mobile 6. If someone has a place for me to upload it, I can send them the file.

Good to know. I've not been willing to install an unauthorized an WM6 ROM on my smartphone for fear I wont be able to install the offical one from AT&T over it. I'll give AT&T 1 more week, then I may do it...but I'll need to make sure I can back up and restore the current ROM if I need to. Did you do that?

This was the official ATT ROM, just leaked before release. You can backup and resotre. The instructions on how to do so are on the web...Pretty easy.

I just updated the unofficial WM6 upgrade on my Blackjack and the bluetooth still doesnt work. It allows me to pair it, bu then does not do anything else (and the headset icon does not appear on the phone).

Frustrating...

On mine, it shows the phonebook and antenna bar, but not signal strength. Don't know why that yours is not working.

maybe there's something different on the 08 Bluetooth
