It is most likely a problem with the unit itself. I just searched the bimmerfest and the Bentley forum boards
and that errors has come up for various reasons. As it is the car specific unit (and not the OBD) you will
not be able to reset fault codes with the OBD reader, only with the appropriate equipment that technicians
have.
