Hi Guys
This problem refers to our other German car - the Merc but I am sure you will be able to shine some light on this problem....
Had a new Sender Unit fitted a few weeks ago [this thing apparently tells the OBC how hot the engine is]. When Roger disconnected the unit - it started. When he reconnected it - it wouldn't. Car has been standing for some time as she is one of the wedding cars.
Hubby took her out the other morning. Started OK but was a bit 'lumpy'. Took Pirate's brother to school and on the way home she DIED on a roundabout :doh:
I went down and tried to start her. She would turn over but not fire then 'clunk' Nothing - dead. Tried again - same thing.
Roger, mechanic, came today - she started OK. She seems to start cold but when she gets hot she either cuts out or she wont start again.
Seems to be throwing back fumes also.
Any ideas Guys :dunno:
