I will be pretty busy for this ED trip.
So I just wonder: Is it possible for me to show up and pick up the car (335i) in Munich Delivery Center and then drop it off in Munich on the same day (Jan 18th, 2008) ?

Thanks !

I did the same day pick up and drop off in 2004. I think I put a grand total of 8 miles on the car.

Depends on a variety of factors. If you are flying in the same day, even if you plan on an early arrival, if you are delayed, that would make it unlikely.

If your appointment at the Welt is later in the day, given the fact that you will spend at least 2.5-3 hours in the delivery process, you will not make it to the drop-off center the same day in all likelihood.

Otherwise, if you have an early appointment and you are not flying in that day, there is no reason why not.

I was just passing through on business and picked up my wife's 525i. It was raining and sleeting so I didn't miss much. I did a proper European Tour with my 330 convertible at a later date. By the way JSpira, it was a pleasure meeting you on opening day at the Welt.

Picked up my sister's 530i last Oct. and went straight to Harms. Am doing the same this December for my 328i. If it snows, then I'll just have Harms come and pick it up at Welt.

I will be arriving in Munich at 7:30am pick up appointment is 3pm, so I will be arriving at the welt by 12pm to guarantee to leave by 3pm, drive to drop off at Harms no later than 3:30pm. Fly back next morning.

Is there a cost associated with that? I'm trying to get a Jan pickup (i initally was going to go in March, but can't wait). With my luck, it will be snowing when I get there (hope not, but wouldn't be surprised).

Why would you do somthing like that? Fly 24 hours to save a few grand and not stay in Europe?

If the pickup appt is at 3, they will be delivering the car at 3 (these things are all slotted) and the pre-delivery will start 90 minutes prior. You won't be finished at 3, maybe by 3:30 you can drive off at the earliest.

Ja, crazy, as that would indicate the person places no value on his own time.
