I know we have went through this before, but when is the best time to change the oil.. Between 3000-3500 or when the all the green lights go out... Running into the next oil change according to the little sticker on the windsheld.. But only one green light is gone..
Should I change the oil... :dunno:

When the FIRST light is extinguished is when I change. That usually corresponds to ~3000 miles. Even with synthetic I can't bear to go much longer. Many here will say that is excessive. I say it's the cheapest way to make an engine last. My '89 has ~300k(dino oil) on it and recently received a head gasket, hone marks are still clearly visible in the cylinders.

agreed. I go by mileage still, and ignore the service interval... except to reset it every time

Same here. Every 7500 miles with German Castrol for daily driving. Although sometimes I do it sooner if I'm bored...
