I'm thinking about painting my wood inteior trim to either titanium silver or the color of my car has anyone ever done that if so can you post pics and where can i get it done with quality in south cali.

If you take your trim to someone who knows what they are doing, you could get it painted. The trim really is wood so it would need prepared appropriately.

It is an interesting idea but I think would be pretty cool. :)

There are some people who have aluminum trim (mostly in M5s, I think) so you may wish to visit your dealer and browse around to see and check out other interior trim colors.

buy the M5 interior tit kit for 400 bucks from the dealer

Good luck getting the trim for $400. I think if you order the M5 Titanium trim from Pacific BMW, they'll hit you up for well over $700.

The m5 titanium trim is around 1000 thats what my local dealer wanted not worth the 1000 so i decided to just painted and save a lot of money for other mods.

Yeah, $1000 is steep for the trim. Through some very shady dealings, I was able to secure my M5 titanium trim (brand new) for $400 cash.

In the last issue of Performance BMW (I think), someone did exactly this on their e39-- they painted the wood trim silver.
