M6 wheels - will narrower tires be OK?

I recently bought new Michelin PS2's for my 6, which currently has the sport package Style 121 wheels. Due to a cracked wheel, I just ordered today new M6 wheels, which I have wanted for some time now.

However, it just struck me .... The tires on the M6 wheels are slightly wider than my Michelin PS2's that are on my Style 121's now.

I don't think this is an issue but just wanted to get a confirmation. Thanks in advance.

Are the 121's the ellipsoids? If so, then tires that fit that wheel will probably fit the M6 wheel (it won't be ideal, but it should work).
