attached is a photo of a tire that was recently swapped from one rim to another. While the tire shop was swapping them they noticed a crack in the tire. I took a picture and noticed the sticker right above the crack. What do these stickers stand for? Lastly, this crack seemed to be from a defect and not road hazard as there is no exterior damage. Anyway I can get someone from management at tirerack to contact me?

that looks like pothole damage. when the tire gets pinched between the rim and the edge of the pothole, an internal tear forms. you can see this on the outside of the tire as a bulge if the damage is severe enough to break the sidewall cords.
i have a PZero nero M&S in my garage that has similar damage. exterior of the tire is fine, sidewall has a crack running down to the bead, which is where all the air leaked out. it was a hard pothole hit.
