I'm getting sick of this nickel and dime **** with this car, my e30 didn't have these problems. There is a fuse (7.5amp) that keeps blowing. This is fuse number 7 that in some way controls the windows/sunroof and central locking system, along with the door switches that control the dome light. Today i put a new fuse in with the keys out of the car and the power locks worked fine as soon as i turn the car on the fuse blows, so that should rule out the central locking and door switched right? that leaves the sunroof and the windows. Does anyone have advice on how to procede? thanks

This might not be that helpful but have you checked ALL your fuses? I once kept blowin a fuse till I realised there was another totally unrelated fuse that was blown. I don't know if there's any technical reason behind it but once I sorted the other fuse, I didn't have the same problem.

It was the trunk wiring, spent about two hours fixing the connections
